Sandblasting and painting services

Regular "hygiene" and care constitute a foundation of a healthy building

Sandblasting

Sandblasting is a valuable tool for cleaning and preparing surfaces. This method is often used before painting or renovating surfaces. With sandblasting, you can easily remove rust, mold, lichen, dirt, graffiti, old paint, and other elements that can significantly reduce the quality of the object. We clean:

Metal

Machines, trucks, steel structures

Concrete

Bridges and viaducts

Stone

Walls, facades, etc.

Wooden surfaces

Walls, logs, fences etc.

Painting services

Sandblasting is often a preparatory step for painting industrial surfaces. Similar to sanding but much more powerful, sandblasting makes the surface rough and clean, allowing paint to adhere better.

We offer high-pressure painting services using specialized equipment, which can handle even the largest and most complex structures. To save time and money, we recommend ordering painting services from us as well.

Let's mark, that we use two main methods for sandblasting:

Dry sandblasting

It removes rust and dirt using only abrasive material and compressed air.

Advantages over wet sandblasting

  • Easier dirt removal and is cheaper
  • In the case of wet sandblasting, the mixture of water and abrasive creates pollution, which makes the after-cleaning process more difficult than in the case of dry sandblasting.
  • No water consumption.
  • Contact between water and metal surfaces creates ideal conditions for rust formation. Therefore, moisture must be removed immediately after the work is done. One method to address this is to start painting (more or less) right away. With dry sandblasting, this issue doesn't occur.

Wet sandblasting

In this case, water will be added to abrasive (e.g. sand)

Advantages over dry sandblasting

  • Adding water prevents the movement of dust, which is extremely important in the case of many projects.
  • Thanks to the added water, less abrasive can be used (as water is heavy and F=M*a^2)
  • Is less dangerous, because water neutralizes the charges which would otherwise create mini-explosions and then fire.
